Browsers supported  
AdviserNET is optimised and fully supported to be used with Microsoft Edge. You can access AdviserNET using Google Chrome version 48 or higher, Apple Safari or Mozilla Firefox versions 42 or higher. Internet Explorer (IE) has not been supported on AdviserNET since 20 February 2022.

You don’t need any additional hardware to access AdviserNET.

 

Browser security  
AdviserNET employs the latest in browser security. We have registered a trusted Certificate Authority (CA) issued security certificate that provides you with a secure 256-bit Transport Layer Security (TLS) encrypted connection. It encrypts all data transferred to and from your browser so you can be sure your user name, password and all your clients' information remains confidential and is protected from unauthorised people.

For the security to be effective, we suggest you use the most recent version of your web browser and ensure your anti-virus and anti-malware software is kept up-to-date.

Email alerts to ensure your login remains secure

We’ll send you an alert via email when you login to AdviserNET for the first time on a new device (eg. laptop or mobile phone) or with a new browser, when you use incognito or private browsing mode, when you clear your cookies or when someone else is accessing your login.

Other software and plug-ins  
AdviserNET uses third party freeware (publicly available free software) and other plug-ins. To upgrade your AdviserNET preferred software:

  1. Click Resources
  2. Click Systems and settings
  3. Click Software upgrades.

Automatic session timeout  
For security purposes, you need to logout at the end of your session. If your AdviserNET session is left unattended for an hour, the system will automatically log you out.

To change your session timeout options:

  1. Click Settings (at the bottom of the screen) or Resources
  2. Click Systems and settings
  3. Click User preferences
  4. In Session options, select the required session timeout

Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Save Preferences.

AdviserNET uses cookies on its website to provide you with a better experience and so we can tailor content for you.
